- Consequences When Love Is Blind is an eye-opening novella that takes readers into the lives of Andre and Sade Peters, a couple who seems to have it all. Sadly, Sade discovers that Andre is on the down-low and in the blink of an eye their life together changes when both are diagnosed with HIV.
- What inspired you to write your book? if applicable
- I constantly hear and see in the news about the rise of HIV infections in the African American community. I wanted to take what knowledge I have on the subject and incorporate it into my writing-my passion.
- Why should readers read your book? If applicable
- I don't think there is any one person who can't benefit from reading my book because together, we have the power to stop the spread of HIV.

The sincerity of our words are soothing and healing to others
Family, I'm in tears as I type these few lines. My co-worker recently lost her mother who was only 54 years old. She died of cancer in October 2008. My co-worker and friend is currently reading Somebody Prayed for Me, and she just called me in tears after reading the story "One Moment With You" and the poem "Always In My Heart."
