- For seven years, I thought I was living the family dream: three young kids, a house in the suburbs, a devoted husband. But then one night "She" called.
I Am Divorced Not Dead is the one-year story of how my sexuality roused to propel my life forward after betrayal and separaton. At a time when my head and heart were too shattered to find North, my body was my 'teacher,' pushing me outside my safe 'mommy bubble' into un-chartered moral territory, and calalyzing personal growth on every level. Based on the premise that 'a woman's body never lies.' I Am Divorced Not Dead is about the hard-earned spiritual evolution of a regular woman who dared to listen to and act on her body's desires.
- What inspired you to write your book? if applicable
- This is a memoir - it's all true! The only reason I wrote it was to free myself from my history; to figure out the who, what and why of my life events from a higher perspective. As it turned out, I wrote something good cause I got agented immediately and publishers are knocking.:)
- Why should readers read your book? If applicable
- I Am Divorced Not Dead gives voice to thoughts and desires that most women covet - in SECRET. Too often women let 'shoulds' or 'coulds' decide their life course, instead of listening to their intuition or heart's desires. ROUSING is about never settling for mediocrity, listening to one's body, pursuing passion, and most importantly, finding and standing in one's truth, regardless of what other people think.

Why am I blogging instead of being out on a date?
I'm 38 years old and a newly-single mom of three young kids. Not surprisingly, I have trouble making time to date.
But tonight, I'm finally child-free. I have no reason NOT to go out. But what am I doing? Why I'm blogging in my sweatpants of course! (shaking my head)
